Two brothers, Lee and Matt Casbeer, are the
artists of LMC Murals.
Lee studied art under John McClusky with the
Fredericksburg Art Guild, and later spent 5 years in Italy developing
his skills in painting and selling his art work in shows. He is
an active member of the Coppini Academy of Fine Art in San Antonio
,Texas.
Matt worked as an apprentice under a master
finisher, developing trompe l'oeil techniques in a variety of mediums.
As a team they offer top quality work executed
in a timely and cost effective manner.
Whether it's landscape, trompe l'oeil, architectural
or historical scenes, their dedication to extensive research ensures
an accurate depiction. What sets them apart, however, is their ability
to capture the human figure, and their background in portraiture
has generated frequent requests from clients to have themselves
depicted in the scenes.
They will travel anywhere to work on location
or can complete the work in their studio on theatrical muslin and
install it on location. This option is usually more cost effective
and offers the benefit of being able to relocate the mural if it
becomes necessary. When working with this method, the client can
receive photos via e-mail or fed-ex to keep up with the progress
and to give input on the work.
We invite you to browse the portfolio pages
to view works that have been featured in such publications as Country
Accents and Texas Monthly.
